Padukone was born to tennis star Prakash Padukone. She was brought up in Bangalore and born in Copenhagen. In her teens, she competed at national-level badminton events, but she backed off playing and went on to become a fashion designer. Padukone is a native of Mangalore, Indian. Her mother tongue Konkani is where she comes from. Padukone is located in Kundapura Taluk of Karnataka's Udupi District. Prakash Padukone's father is an international badminton player who has now retired. Her mom is a travel agent.
